Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets UK Foreign Secretary

HE the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on 22 November 2017 with the UK Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson at the Qatar Embassy in London.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign secretary debated the developments of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the issues facing the region.

HE Sheikh Mohammed and Mr Johnson also discussed the respective ties that unite Qatar and the UK, with both parties reiterating the importance of maintaining the historical Qatar - UK union, to develop these mutual alliances and taking them forward into the next generation through various investments and partnerships between Qatar and the UK.
