HE Minister of Energy and Industry Dr Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sada met here today with UK Minister of State at Department of Energy and Climate Change Andrea Leadsom.
      During the meeting, they discussed relations between the State of Qatar and the United Kingdom and the aspects of cooperation in the field of energy, as well as the supply of Qatari gas to the United Kingdom to secure its energy needs.
      The meeting was attended by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the United Kingdom Yousef Bin Ali Al Khater.
      HE the Minister of Energy and Industry participated in a Chatham House’s conference on Middle East and North Africa energy, and also delivered a speech in the first session of the conference where he spoke about the development of the energy sector in the State of Qatar.
      A number of senior officials from the Middle East and North African countries participated in the conference along with the Secretary General of OPEC and director of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House).
     The conference discussed a number of important issues on energy markets, political developments and security challenges.
