Qatar , Britain Discuss Bilateral Relations

The second meeting of the Forum on Qatar- British bilateral dialogue (UK-Qatar Partnership) was held in the British capital, chaired by HE Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, and the Middle East Minister at the British Foreign Office Tobias Ellwood.

The two sides discussed a number of bilateral issues relating to security, defense, trade, investment, development, education, and culture and ways of enhancing them.

Meanwhile, Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward - the Duke of York met at Buckingham Palace with HE Qatar's Assistant Foreign Minister for Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation, where they discussed ways to strengthen and develop relations between the two countries and issues of common concern.

The meeting was attended by HE Qatar's Ambassador in London Yousuf bin Ali Al Khater, Director of the European Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Khalid bin Rashid Al Mansouri and the accompanying delegation.
